Update: Just after 1 p. m., the OPP reported that the truck had been cleared from the highway and all lanes were back open.
Authorities stated that the incident involved two vehicles and thankfully, there were no injuries.

A tractor-trailer accident blocked the Toronto-bound lanes of the QEW in Oakville on Friday morning.
The truck ended up in a ditch and its trailer was obstructing the three right lanes as of 10:30 a. m., according to the Ontario Provincial Police on X.
Cameras from the Ministry of Transportation captured emergency teams at work, with only the HOV lane remaining open around 11 a. m.
“Extensive delays expected through the area,” said the OPP.
