VAUGHAN – Police north of Toronto have named two men who lost their lives in a targeted shooting outside a residence in Vaughan, Ont., on Wednesday.
York Region police report that they received a call about gunfire near Kaiser Drive and Forest Drive around 5:30 p. m.
Upon arrival, they discovered Pasquale Casciato, 49, and Christian Belsito, 34, both of whom succumbed to their injuries from gunshot wounds.
Authorities indicated that one victim resided at the house on Kaiser Drive while the other lived nearby; they were acquaintances.
Late Wednesday, police stated they suspect it was a targeted attack and are looking for three male suspects who escaped in an SUV.
The police encourage anyone with information or surveillance footage to reach out to investigators.
