Photo: City of Vaughan April 14, 2026 Pizza Nova has been selected as the official pizza supplier for The Sports Village in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, according to a press release. This partnership was announced following a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 10 that included Mayor Steven Del Duca and members of the Vaughan City Council. Pizza Nova will be serving food at the facility’s on-site concessions as well as at the Hot Shots Bar & Grill. The Sports Village, located at 2600 Rutherford Rd., is a multi-sport complex that features four NHL-sized ice rinks, five beach volleyball courts, a sports park, and two baseball diamonds. This city-owned facility hosts significant hockey tournaments and welcomes over 2 million visitors each year. “Sports complexes like this are where young athletes build confidence, teamwork and friendships,” Domenic Primucci, president of Pizza Nova, said in the press release. “We’re proud to support The Sports Village and serve families who spend their time here competing, practicing and celebrating together.” The complex is home to both the City of Vaughan Hockey Association and the Toronto Aeros Girls Hockey Association. “I’m pleased to welcome Pizza Nova to The Sports Village, one of Vaughan’s premier sports and recreation destinations.
