If you love Olive Garden’s endless breadsticks and fresh garden salads, there’s good news! You won’t need to travel across the border anymore, as the popular American restaurant chain is making a comeback in Ontario with new spots in Vaughan and Ottawa this summer.

If you’re a fan of Olive Garden’s unlimited bread sticks and garden salads, you won’t have to cross the border for them any longer as the well-known American restaurant brand is returning to Ontario with two new locations, including one at Vaughan Mills.

Recipe Restaurant Group International has shared plans for expanding the Olive Garden brand in Canada. This follows their acquisition of all eight existing Canadian restaurants located in western Canada, along with a national development agreement with Darden Restaurants, Inc., based in the U. S.

The first of these “Italian-inspired” restaurants will open at Vaughan Mills mall, with another location set to debut soon after in Westboro, Ottawa. Both are expected to launch this summer, according to a recent announcement.

“With these upcoming openings, we’re taking an important step in expanding Olive Garden’s footprint into new Canadian markets,” said Frank Hennessey, chief executive officer of Recipe Restaurant Group. “This expansion reflects our confidence in the brand, the strength of our partnership with Darden, and our ability to execute thoughtfully and strategically across Canada.”

Yianni Fountas, chief operating officer of Olive Garden Canada at Recipe Restaurant Group, added, “Backed by the expertise of our operational teams, these new restaurants will welcome guests like family, delivering the consistency and value that guests expect from Olive Garden while establishing a strong foundation for the brand’s continued growth in Canada.”

Further details about additional openings and other milestones for these family-friendly restaurants will be revealed over the coming months as Olive Garden expands its presence across Canada.

Recipe Restaurant Group International stands as Canada’s largest full-service restaurant company with nearly 1,100 establishments throughout Canada and also operates internationally in the United States and Middle East. Their portfolio features brands such as Swiss Chalet, St-Hubert, Harvey’s, Montana’s, Olive Garden, New York Fries, Kelsey’s Original Roadhouse, East Side Mario’s, Original Joe’s, State & Main, Anejo The Burger’s Priest The Landing Group Elephant & Castle Fresh Kitchen + Juice Bar The Pickle Barrel Blanco Cantina and Bier Markt.
