Graham Platner, the Democratic nominee for the Senate in Maine, has officially stepped away from the race for the U. S. Senate, according to a statement released by the Secretary of State’s office on Friday. His name will not be listed on the ballot for November 3, and his political party has until July 27 to choose a new candidate.
