Witnesses Sought in St. Catharines Crash Incident

Witnesses Sought in St. Catharines Crash Incident

Ontario Provincial Police are reaching out to the public for anyone who saw a tragic accident that happened in St. Catharines on Highway 406 and Third Avenue in December 2025.

As per the investigators, on Dec. 3, 2025, around 8:30 p. m., a vehicle heading south lost control and rolled into the center ditch.

One of the passengers, an 18-year-old woman from Thorold, was thrown out and landed in the northbound lanes of Highway 406 just north of Third Avenue.

Authorities report that she was hit by at least two vehicles while in those lanes. Unfortunately, those vehicles did not stop at the scene.

The woman was declared dead at the location.
