Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has reported that three vehicles were near the scene of a crash involving a seriously injured 77-year-old woman and an injured Ontario Provincial Police officer. Ontario’s police watchdog is asking for anyone who saw a collision in Simcoe, Ont., in April that resulted in serious injuries to a 77-year-old woman and an Ontario Provincial Police officer.
The crash took place around 1:30 p. m. on April 15 at the intersection of Norfolk Street North and Riverside Road, according to provincial police and the Special Investigations Unit (SIU).
The SIU stated that the officer was en route to a call while heading south on Norfolk Street when they collided with a Honda CRV at that intersection.
