A man has died after being hit by a vehicle early Monday morning in London’s east end.
Police are continuing their investigation. Officers arrived at the intersection of Hale Street and Hamilton Road, just east of Highbury Avenue, around 7 a. m. for a medical emergency and discovered an adult male with serious injuries.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police. The driver involved stayed at the scene.
“Through the course of the investigation, video surveillance was obtained, and officers determined that the victim had been struck by a motor vehicle,” police said.
Not many additional details have been shared.
Authorities are urging anyone who was nearby between 6:40 a. m. and 7:05 a. m., or who may have recorded the incident on dash or surveillance camera, to reach out to them or Crime Stoppers.
