Businesses, nonprofits and municipalities from western Ontario are encouraged to join the session on Dec. 2 at the Simcoe County administration building in Midhurst.

WESTERN ONTARIO WARDENS CAUCUS

The Western Ontario Wardens’ Caucus (WOWC), along with local counties, is welcoming businesses, nonprofits, municipalities, and economic development groups to the Western Ontario Fall Funders Forum Series.

This in-person event allows participants to connect with provincial ministry representatives and gain insights into grants, funding programs, and application deadlines.

“Access to funding is essential for local growth and innovation,” said Kate Burns Gallagher, executive director of the Western Ontario Wardens’ Caucus. “These sessions give organizations a clear, direct look at funding opportunities available and the information they need to pursue projects that benefit their communities.”

Sessions will include presentations from representatives of various Ontario ministries such as:

Ministry of Rural Affairs (MRA) Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade (MEDJCT) Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming (MTCG) Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness (OMAFA) Southern Ontario Fund for Investment in Innovation (SOFII)

Attendees will also get a chance to ask questions, understand eligibility criteria, and network with funders and regional stakeholders.

The Fall Funders Forum will occur on these dates at these locations:

Tuesday, Nov. 25, 10 a. m. – 12 p. m., Blyth Memorial Community Hall, 431 Queen St., Blyth Thursday, Nov. 27, 10 a. m. – 12 p. m., Wilkin Family Community Centre, 169 Grand River St. N., Paris Thursday, Nov. 27, 2 – 4 p. m., Tillsonburg Soccer Club, 275 Quarterline Rd., Tillsonburg Tuesday, Dec. 2, 10 a. m. – 12 p. m., County of Simcoe Administration Building (Council Chambers), 1110 Highway 26, Midhurst Thursday, Dec. 4, 10 a. m. – 12 p. m., Sarnia Golf & Curling Club, 500 Errol Rd. W., Point Edward Thursday Dec. 4 , 2 – 4 p. m., Fire Rock Golf Club ,10345 Oxbow Dr. , Komoka
