Tragic Accident Claims Life of Local Man

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) report that a 74-year-old man has died after an incident in Plympton-Wyoming.

The event occurred just before noon on Thursday at the intersection of Churchill Line and Minielly Road. Emergency responders, including police, Lambton EMS, and Plympton-Wyoming firefighters, attended to a situation involving a tractor.

Details are limited, but the man from Warwick Township was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the victim has not yet been disclosed.

Churchill Line was shut down between Gypsie Flats Road and Black Ash Road for several hours while authorities conducted their investigation.

The inquiry is still ongoing.
