Hanover Police Service took a trespasser into custody and found drugs on the individual after an event on July 30.
According to Hanover Police, at 12:30 p. m. on July 30, they received a call from a local motel about an unwanted guest who had previously been banned from the property.
Officers discovered that a female suspect had arrived at the motel in a pick-up truck, violating a release order that prohibited her from driving any vehicle. When officers got to the scene, they arrested the suspect and during this process seized over 110 grams of methamphetamine valued at around $11,000, along with stolen Ontario driver’s licences and an Ontario Health Card belonging to someone else from her possession.
As a result, the 39-year-old woman with no fixed address faces several charges including Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking. She was held for a bail hearing and later taken into custody.
