York Regional Police are looking for several suspects following a home invasion in Richmond Hill that involved five residents, resulting in one person being attacked.

According to investigators, the event occurred around 4:55 a. m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, at a home located near Mc Callum Drive and Bathurst Street. Police report that three suspects broke into the residence while the occupants were asleep.

The intruders herded the five residents into a shared space before ransacking the property. One victim was assaulted during this incident but fortunately did not suffer any injuries, police stated.

The suspects are described as young South Asian males dressed in dark clothing, gloves, and balaclavas. Authorities believe the trio escaped in a dark blue sedan that was driven by a fourth suspect waiting outside.

York Regional Police are asking the public for help. They have not determined if the suspects specifically targeted this home or if it was a random act.
