Officers are looking for a group after they reportedly broke windows at a house in Sydney’s north-west and set fire to a stolen ute. At around 2am today, emergency services were called to a location on Bocks Road in Oakville following reports that a group had driven a ute onto the property and allegedly smashed several windows. They supposedly ignited the ute shortly afterward. A police operation is currently underway in Sydney’s north-west. (Nine) When police arrived, the group ran away on foot, while another person got into a second vehicle and drove off. Police pursued them, and the vehicle was halted on Fontana Drive at The Gables before the driver took off again. After searching the area, a 17-year-old boy was arrested shortly after and taken to Windsor Police Station. The ute was put out, and further investigations revealed that it had reportedly been stolen last month. The residents of the home, a man and woman in their 50s, were unharmed during the incident, and an investigation is now ongoing.
