Nadim Faza from Richmond Hill is celebrating his third big lottery win after taking home the Ontario 49 second prize of $50,000 in the draw on Nov. 1, 2025.

The 72-year-old engineer previously won $159,000 with Lotto 6/49 back in 2004 and more recently scored a $1-million prize in the Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball Draw in 2022.

“I checked my ticket on OLG. ca and the first thing I did was wake up my wife and daughter to share the news. I couldn’t believe it. I was over the moon,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his winnings.

Faza intends to share his fortune with his children and hopes to take a vacation somewhere warm.

“This is great timing as Christmas is here and I can spend it on my grandchildren,” he concluded.

The winning ticket was bought at Lucky 7 Convenience & Smoke located on Oxford Street in Richmond Hill.
