South Bruce OPP report that a man has died and another person was hospitalized after a head-on crash on Hwy 21 Tuesday evening.
Emergency crews arrived at the site between Bruce Road 40 and Bruce-Saugeen Townline on Hwy 21 around 5:20 p. m.
As per a social media update from OPP Sgt. Ed Sanchuk, the incident involved a pickup truck and an SUV.
The driver of the SUV, who was 49 years old, was declared dead at the scene.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries and has since been released from the hospital.
Hwy 21 was closed for several hours while authorities conducted their investigation but has now reopened.
