South Bruce OPP report that a man has lost his life and another was hospitalized following a head-on crash on Hwy 21 on Tuesday evening.
Emergency services were called to the scene located between Bruce Road 40 and Bruce-Saugeen Townline on Hwy 21 at around 5:20 p. m.
As stated in a social media update by OPP Sgt. Ed Sanchuk, the accident involved a pickup truck and an SUV.
The driver of the SUV, a 49-year-old man, was declared dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was treated for minor injuries and later released from the hospital.
Hwy 21 remained closed for several hours as police conducted their investigation but has now reopened.
