A propane explosion has resulted in the death of one man at a golf course near Peterborough on Wednesday.
The incident occurred around 3 p. m. at Bellmere Winds Golf Resort, located near Peterborough County Road 2 and Villiers Line.
According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the blast took place inside a residential trailer.
The victim, a 63-year-old from Warkworth, Ontario, was airlifted to a hospital in Toronto where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities are still investigating the situation. The OPP reports that several agencies are involved, including the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development and Peterborough OPP.
