The Ontario New Democratic Party is meeting in the riding of Peterborough-Kawartha this week from October 14th to 16th for a party caucus retreat.
ONDP Leader Marit Stiles mentions that it’s a chance for her caucus to collaborate and set priorities ahead of the legislature’s return at the end of October.
Queen’s Park has been on a 21-week summer break since early June, having met for only 30 days following another long winter break. They are expected to reconvene in the legislature on October 27th, right after the Ontario municipal elections.
The party is also working to position itself strongly for a future provincial election, which will be another focus during the three-day caucus retreat.
Tune in to hear MPP Marit Stiles’ address from October 14th, along with a press conference and media Q&A session from that afternoon.
