PETERBOROUGH, ON – Get ready for an unmissable motorsports event as Peterborough Speedway hosts a thrilling day of racing on Saturday, June 13th. Experience the adrenaline of a 175-lap main event featuring the APC United Late Model Series along with 50 laps of intense competition from the Dayco Super Stocks, brought to you by KOD Disposal.
Both series make their only appearance in town for the 2026 season this weekend. Josh Stade clinched victory at the season opener for Late Models on Saturday, May 9th at Delaware, while last year’s champion at Peterborough and the winner of the 2025 Autumn Colours Classic, Jake Sheridan, took home the win on Sunday, May 31st at Flamboro. Sheridan heads into this weekend with a narrow lead over Brandon Watson by just 5 points in the Late Model standings. Watson holds the record for most wins in tour history with 19 victories. Stade is currently reigning as series champion, and Watson’s last win at Peterborough was back in 2018.
The upcoming 175-lap APC United Late Model ‘A’ main at Peterborough Speedway kicks off this year’s NTN Triple Crown Series, which features a $15,000 point fund alongside an already announced $49,000 point fund for the APC Series. Additional races are scheduled for August 1st at Sauble and September 26th at Delaware.
