This Saturday, July 25th, things are heating up at Peterborough Speedway as the 2026 schedule rolls on.

The local divisions including Battlefield Equipment Rental Bone Stock, Trent Lakes Complete Plumbing Renegade Truck, and Late Model classes will share the spotlight alongside a thrilling 40-lap race for the OSCAAR Modifieds and a 30-lap ‘A’ main for their Hot Rod counterparts. King of the Hill timed laps will entertain fans during intermission. Gates open for spectators at 5:00 p. m., with racing kicking off at 6:00.

This event marks the 150th race in the history of Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modifieds since they started back in May 2012. Heading into this weekend’s event at Peterborough, nearly 20 different drivers have earned points in at least one tour event this season. Dale Reinhart is leading by a slim margin of 12 points over Rick Burbridge, while Steve Trendell holds third place just one point behind Burbridge.

In the Fyre Place and Patio Shop OSCAAR Hot Rod standings, Thomas Wunsch is on top with 142 points. Steve Book and Tyler Hawn are close behind with scores of 134 and 126 points respectively. After Peterborough, the Hot Rods will be back on track Saturday, August 8th at Brighton Speedway.

On July 25th, Battlefield Equipment Rental Bone Stock teams will hit the track again after more than a month away. Reigning track champion Alex Dallaire leads the standings with an advantage of 18 points over both Jacob Stavropoulos and Zachary Cheng. ‘Stavro’ was last year’s rookie of the year in Bone Stock while Cheng celebrated his first career main event win earlier this season.

The Trent Lakes Complete Plumbing Renegade Trucks will be racing for their second time in three weeks. The No. 52 truck driven by Kyle Gordon and James Townsend sits atop the leaderboard with a total of 241 points. Following closely are Adam Chatten, Scott Jacobs, and Stephen Bierworth who are trailing by between 27 to 29 markers.

Fans can also look forward to another appearance from home track Late Models. Consistent winner Dan Mc Hattie is leading the championship chase by eight points ahead of current title holder Ryan Kimball. Kelly Balson sits third with a deficit of 20 points from Mc Hattie’s total of 305 points. Each driver has recorded wins in feature events throughout this season.
