Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a volunteer on the Youngsters’s Support Society of Ottawa with sexual offences involving a minor.
In response to an OPP information launch issued Friday afternoon, police began investigating the accused man over the Labour Day weekend.
Andrew Ryerson, 55, of Perth, Ont., was arrested on Sunday and charged with sexual assault of an individual underneath 16, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, and two counts of creating sexually specific materials accessible to an individual underneath 14.
The alleged incidents passed off in Lanark County, which is why the provincial police pressure is investigating, OPP spokesperson Invoice Dickson advised CBC.
Ryerson was spending “quite a lot of time with a baby and their household,” based on the discharge.
