Porter Airlines is linking the capital city with two other Ontario locations.
The daily flights will take passengers to Windsor and Sudbury in just a few hours from Ottawa. Both routes are non-stop. This also means that folks from these cities can connect more easily through Ottawa’s International Airport, making travel to bigger destinations simpler.
Or they can choose to enjoy their time right in the center of Ottawa.
“Whether it’s a quick getaway, family visit or business trip, travellers can now explore world-class museums, the renowned Rideau Canal, and the history and culture of Ottawa,” the press release notes.
Passengers flying with Porter Airlines will enjoy complimentary beer or wine, and thanks to the size of the plane, there are no middle seats.
“The launch of the Windsor and Sudbury service is the next step in building Ottawa into a stronger hub for Porter,” Andrew Pierce, vice president, network planning and reporting, Porter Airlines, said. “Travellers have non-stop access to the nation’s capital and to an increasing number of connecting flights across the country.”
