The Saskatchewan Rush just secured a 15-10 victory at home against the Oshawa Fire Wolves, bringing their record to 6-1 this season and keeping their undefeated streak at home alive.

This win is Saskatchewan’s fourth consecutive success at Sask Tel Centre, allowing the Rush to maintain their position at the top of the NLL standings as they enter their bye week.

Rush forward Levi Anderson mentioned that trust and consistency have been essential elements contributing to the team’s strong performance.

“We trust each other,” Anderson said. “We’re learning from our mistakes and carrying momentum into every single game. It’s been a pleasure and a lot of fun so far.”

In his second season with the Rush, Anderson highlighted how the team culture has significantly impacted their achievements.

“From the coaching staff to the veterans to the new guys, we’re all bought in,” he said. “We understand our roles and we work very, very hard. It’s a winning culture and it’s been a wild ride.”

Offensively, Ryan Keenan led the way for the Rush with four goals and three assists, while Austin Shanks contributed seven points. Jake Naso also had an impressive night in faceoffs, winning 22 out of 29 draws.

After falling just short of a championship last year, Anderson noted that this group feels extra motivated heading into this season.

“We’ve got that pit in our stomach,” he said. “We’re hungry to hoist that cup at the end of the year.”

The Rush will be back on January 30 for an away game in Calgary before returning home on February 14.
