A serious car crash took place on Highway 401 at Harmony Road in Oshawa, involving three vehicles and resulting in a large diesel spill. This incident occurred around 9:12 a. m. and led to the closure of all westbound lanes at Courtice Road. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported that one driver was hospitalized with minor injuries, while crews are working hard to clean up the dangerous spill, hoping to reopen by the afternoon rush hour.
