Teresa “Teri” Lee Wilde OBITUARY

Teresa “Teri” Lee Wilde, 74, passed away peacefully at home on May 22, 2026, after battling cancer. She was a dear sister, aunt, great-aunt, and loyal friend.

Teri had a sharp mind and an eagerness to learn. She was creative, generous, and fiercely independent. Traveling brought her joy, she loved her pets dearly, and she valued the time spent with family and lifelong friends.

A proud graduate of Westridge School for Girls and the University of California, Irvine, Teri dedicated 53 years to Bank of America. Later on, she moved into Community Development where her work matched her values and sense of purpose. Helping finance affordable housing projects that supported families in need was something she took great pride in.

Outside of her career, Teri devoted considerable time to volunteering. Her contributions included the Junior League of Los Angeles, the Downtown Women’s Center, the Friends of the La Cañada Flintridge Library, and The Gamble House in Pasadena. She also regularly sent letters and care packages to military service members deployed overseas.

Teri had a passion for history and enjoyed reading. She loved participating in book club discussions about French language and culture. Music was another love; she attended concerts by both The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. Collecting antique silver pieces, art, orchids as well as expressing herself through knitting, needlepointing, and creating handmade cards for family and friends were activities that brought her happiness.

Teri is survived by siblings Cecily (Wilde) Bishop (John) and Stanleigh Kellord Wilde along with six nieces and nephews plus 10 great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Beatrice and Urban Wilde.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pasadena Humane Society or the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
