Dominique Ontario Brown, aged 36, from Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on December 15, 2025.

Born on June 14, 1989, Dominique was a loving husband and father. He was also a caring son, brother, uncle, and friend. He put his family first and had a strong work ethic that showed how much he cared. His quick wit and great sense of humor often filled the room with laughter and joy. Dominique loved photography, traveling, theater trips with his wife, especially to see plays and help behind the scenes in productions. Most importantly, he treasured every moment spent with his family.

Dominique accepted Christ early in life at Greater Life Baptist Church in Memphis under Pastor Martin Y. Harris’s guidance. Later on, he became an active member of The Word Church of God and Christ International under Pastor Eddie Parker III’s leadership. There he dedicated his time to the media ministry using his talents to assist the church’s mission.

He worked at JPMorgan Chase as an Associated Process Improvement Specialist where he earned respect for his professionalism and dedication. To pursue his creative interests further, he enrolled at Wilmington University studying Media Communication online.

Dominique is preceded in death by his grandmother Rosemary Brown and great-grandmother Maggie Curtis.

He leaves behind many loving memories including his wife La’Niece “Brittani” Pierce; his son Ari Brown; daughters Amari Brown and Journee; mother Shazelle Brown; father Ronnett Dodson; siblings Denita Robinson, Vincent Brown, Brittni Shackleford, Amir Dodson, Makayla Dodson, Kyri Pennimon; nieces Joelle Brown and Jordyn Brown Charrli’rae; aunts La’shonda Dockery, La’Rhonda Ward, Tanika Spight , Anita Mc Ghee; uncles Ralo Brown Jr., Calvin Mc Ghee; grandfather Ralo Brown Sr.; mother-in-law Ravon Pierce; father-in-law Carlton Pierce; sisters-in-law Ashley (Marcus Grace) , Karla (Dathan Harris); best friend Thomas Bolden (“TJ”); along with many extended family members, friends, and church family who will always remember him fondly.

Dominique will be missed deeply but the love he shared will remain alive in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
