On June 7, 2026, on a lovely sunny day, Pauline Klymyk (Prystay), aged 93, passed away quietly at Hogarth Riverview Manor in Thunder Bay, surrounded by her family.

Pauline was born on May 22, 1933, in Vimy, Alberta.

For many years, she took joy in her flowers, gardening, and cooking. She was truly a homemaker. Pauline also had an eye for fashion and cosmetics. She loved cats and made it a point to feed the stray ones around her neighborhood. She enjoyed working for the Bank of Nova Scotia for several years before retiring.

Pauline was predeceased by her husband Tom (2018); her parents Paul and Sophie Prystay; her brothers Amol, Sydney, and Eugene; along with several other family members.

She will be missed by her sister Virginia (who lives in Paris, France) and nephew Dwayne who was a caring presence and visited regularly. Many family members and friends will remember Pauline fondly.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of 3 North at Hogarth Riverview Manor for their kindness and care towards Pauline.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no service at this time. Instead of flowers, donations may be made to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society Northwest Animal Centre or a charity of your choice.

Condolences can be shared through www. nwfainc. com
