We are heartbroken to share the news of Victor Joseph Boudreau’s passing. He was a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who left us peacefully on January 15, 2026, at the age of 93. Born in Tracadie, New Brunswick, on July 20, 1932, to Pierre and Venerante Boudreau (née Robichaud), Victor lived a life filled with love, kindness, and steadfast faith-qualities that will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Victor is now reunited with his beloved wife Edna Marie (née Gouin), who he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage with. Their relationship was built on partnership and commitment-a shining example for their children and grandchildren. He also joins his dear siblings in eternity: sisters Alice, Margarette, and Jean; brothers Anthony, Jacque, Leon, and George. They played significant roles in shaping his early life and instilling values that guided him throughout.
He leaves behind a loving family that includes six children: Lisette Cecile (Roy), Gisele Mc Cormick (Allan), Micheline Argent (Doug), Leon Boudreau, Jean-Paul Boudreau, and Simone Bellaire (Tom). Victor took great pride in being a grandfather to eight grandchildren: Krystal, Shawn (Amanda), Joshua Cecile, Sherika, Cody Cartier, Wesley Argent, Devon, and Jeremy Bellaire. He also enjoyed the company of many great-grandchildren who brought him endless happiness.
Victor had an accomplished career as a welder at Chrysler for 35 years. His strong work ethic showed through his dedication to providing for his family. He pursued welding education which laid the groundwork for a successful career that not only supported them but also inspired those around him.
Outside of work life, Victor had many interests. His loyalty to his faith shone brightly as he regularly attended mass; he spent years crafting rosaries alongside Edna for Ste. Anne’s Church. His passion for the outdoors was evident through gardening as well as tinkering with cars-hunting and fishing were among his favorite pastimes too. His adventurous spirit led him to travel frequently while creating lasting memories with his family.
Victor was gentle-spoken and polite-a kind soul always ready to lend a hand when needed. His genuine nature won over everyone he met. The warmth he radiated will be cherished by all whose lives he impacted.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Extendicare Tecumseh where Victor received outstanding care during his final months. Their compassion made a huge difference for him and his family.
