We are heartbroken to share that Susan May Jennings (née Trew) passed away on June 3, 2026, at the Hospice of Windsor after bravely battling cancer for six years. She was 69.

Susan was the loving wife and best friend of Bruce Jennings for 45 years.

She was a caring mother to Holly Jennings (Eric Freitas) and Brittany Jennings (Justin Tessier).

Susan is survived by her dear sisters, Margaret and Elizabeth Trew.

She was a beloved daughter-in-law to Earl and Effie Jennings. Susan’s parents, Ray and Doris Trew, predeceased her.

Her many family members and friends in Oshawa, Ontario will miss her greatly.

For 23 years, Susan dedicated herself as a teacher at St. Clair College in the Architectural and Civil Engineering Department.

In retirement, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and swimming with friends. She also loved camping in Northern Ontario, especially in Algonquin Park, where she made countless wonderful memories with her family and friends.

Cremation has already taken place. Visitation will occur at Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor) on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 2:00 p. m. to 4:00 p. m. and again from 6:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. There will be an additional hour of visitation on Monday, June 8, 2026 before the funeral service starts at 10:00 a. m., followed by the service at 11:00 a. m. in the chapel.

If you’d like to make a donation in Susan’s memory, please consider the Hospice of Windsor. You can share your online condolences at http://www. windsorchapel. com.
