With heavy hearts, we share the news of Rose’s unexpected passing on April 18, 2026, surrounded by her family. Rose was born in Canicatti, Sicily on February 11, 1939. She was the wife of the late Giuseppe Guarneri and the loving spouse of Castrense Bertolino. She was a devoted mother to Tanya and her husband Mike Gaudet. Proud Nonna to Marissa and Joey, she is now with her parents Giuseppe and Vincenza Orlando as well as her parents-in-law Francesco and Vincenza Bertolino. Her sister Josie and husband Eddi Moretuzzo, sister-in-law Alfonza Orlando (late Angelo), and brother-in-law Vito Bertolino (late Ignazia) will miss her dearly. Rose will forever be in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. A determined, hardworking individual full of love for others; she had a knack for cooking and baking that ensured everyone enjoyed a good meal. Time spent with family brought her joy, especially when it came to her grandchildren whom she adored beyond measure.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd., Windsor (519-253-7235) on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 2:00 p. m. to 5:00 p. m., and again from 7:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. The visitation will continue at Windsor Chapel on Friday April 24, 2026 at 9:00 a. m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 a. m. at Our Lady of the Atonement Parish located at 2940 Forest Glade Dr., Windsor.
