MUZZIN (nee. Moret), Marilena

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the peaceful passing of a loving Wife, Mother, Nonna, and Bisnonna on July 12, 2025, at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late Domenic and Santina Moret (nee. Ferrano) and has now reunited with her beloved Husband Sergio Muzzin (2011). She was a caring and devoted Mother to Joseph ‘Joe’ Muzzin (Angela) and Myra Muzzin. She brought joy as Nonna to Alan Muzzin (Jocelyn Skelton), Dale Muzzin (Amanda), Conner Postlethwaite, and Celina Bourque (Trevor). As Bisnonna, she adored Sloan Muzzin, Kylie Muzzin, Bastian Muzzin, Nathan Muzzin, and Jayce Bourque. Her absence will be felt by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends both in Canada and Italy. Marilena dedicated her life to taking care of her family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 2:00pm-5:00pm and again from 7:00pm-9:00pm; parish prayers will take place at 7:30pm at Windsor Chapel Central located at 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., phone number 519-253-7234. The Funeral Mass is set for Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 9:30 a. m., starting from the funeral home before proceeding to St. Alphonsus Church at 85 Park St. E for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a. m. Following Marilena’s wishes, cremation will take place afterward. In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial donations to The Hospice of Windsor and Essex-County Inc. would be appreciated.
