The family of Ingrid Rasmussen from Yorkton, the loving wife of the late Dave Bradbury, sadly announces her passing on April 23, 2026.
Ingrid Ellen Rasmussen was born on April 4, 1963, in Kamsack, SK, to Melvin and Elizabeth Rasmussen. She was the youngest of four siblings. As a child, Ingrid had a sense of adventure. She spent much time outdoors and developed a passion for plants, insects, and animals at an early age. Her home was filled with many cats, dogs, and even small reptiles. Ingrid enjoyed various hobbies but had a special interest in drawing. She created numerous pictures that she shared with her family over the years. With her free spirit and strong opinions, she wasn’t afraid to voice what she thought.
When she was young, Ingrid became a mother to her daughter Annette. Despite facing challenges as a young parent, she worked hard to finish high school and later started working at the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Farm Service Centre in Yorkton. Ingrid thrived in her job and took the chance to transfer to the head office in Regina. It was there that she met her husband Dave and welcomed his children into her life as if they were her own. Sadly, Dave passed away early on; his loss left a significant gap in Ingrid’s life. Alongside other health issues she faced made it increasingly hard for her to continue working.
Even though physical difficulties marked much of her life, Ingrid fought through everything until finally succumbing to her illness.
Ingrid held deep love for her family; her children and grandchildren meant everything to her. While we mourn the loss of such a wonderful person, heaven has gained another angel.
Ingrid is predeceased by her parents Melvin and Elizabeth Rasmussen along with her husband Dave Bradbury. Those who will miss her include daughter Annette; grandchildren Emma Lee and Hunter; brother Murray; sisters Carla (Larry Nartasany) and Myra (Dave Gerhardt); nieces Sarah (Francis Michaud), Kira (Joel Paynter), and Breanne (Spencer Stahl); great-nieces Laikyn, Evie, and Elizabeth; great-nephew Koen; plus many aunts and uncles.
A Memorial Service took place on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Crystal Bailey officiating as Certified Celebrant. Breanne Stahl read scripture while words of remembrance were delivered by Murray Rasmussen and Myra Gerhardt. The interment followed at the Garden of Devotion in Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Emma Lee and Hunter serving as urn bearers.
If you wish to honor Ingrid’s memory further, memorial donations can be made to the Yorkton S. P. C. A or to Allan Blair Patient Lodge c/o Sask. Cancer Agency.
