We are heartbroken to share that Diane Carr has passed away at the age of 63. She was the loving daughter of the late John Carr (2008) and the late Germaine (Nantais) Carr (1997). Diane was a caring sister to Caroline (late Howard) Stallard, Joseph (April) Carr, Pamela (Brad) Benetau, and Michael (Michele) Carr. She was also a devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews. Diane had two daughters whom she placed for adoption because she felt she couldn’t provide for them. She loved them dearly and thought about them every day. Her friend John will especially miss her. Despite her challenges, Diane maintained her gentle spirit without complaints. Family meant everything to her; she always brought us together for birthday celebrations over coffee or trips to the Leamington Raceway in recent years. She had a love for animals, electronics, sports, and was a Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Many friends will sadly feel her absence in their lives.

A special thank you goes out to the ACT team, particularly Dawn, Kristen, and Erin for their years of support and care given to Diane. Their help allowed her to enjoy life.

Our gratitude also extends to the staff at Met Hospital 8 for all they did to keep her comfortable during her last moments.

Arrangements have been made through Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519 253-7235). A memorial Mass is scheduled for September 20th, 2025 at St. Alphonsus Parish (85 Park St E) at 11am, followed by interment at St. Anne’s Cemetery (1120 Lesperance Rd.). You can share online condolences and fond memories with the family at www. windsorchapel. com.
