With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of our dear Antonella Ariana Pelle (nee Ruccolo).
On September 19, 2026, at the age of 50, Antonella left us peacefully while surrounded by her loving family. She enjoyed 26 wonderful years with her husband, Joe. Together, they created a beautiful life filled with memories and a family that meant everything to her. Most importantly, Antonella was a devoted and caring mom to Giulia, Nico, and Alex. They were her pride and joy. She cherished every moment spent with them and will always be remembered for the love, guidance, and strength she provided as a mother.
She was a beloved daughter to Carolina and the late John Ruccolo (2025). A best friend and sister to Sabrina (Paul) Mc Lure and Luigi Ruccolo. The bond she shared with her siblings was strong, filled with profound love. She was not just an older sister but also a lifelong confidant and significant part of their lives. Her nephews Loren and Gianluca Mc Lure will forever hold her close in their hearts as they carry on fond memories together. Watching them grow brought her great joy; she was an exceptional Zia to them.
Antonella was also the loving daughter-in-law to the late Antonio Pelle (2019) and Rosa Pelle. She had sisters-in-law in Domenic (Marica), Ren (Julie), and Marco (Jenelle). As a caring Zia to Anthony, Olivia, Landon, Luca, Jude, and Stella, she leaves behind many family members and friends from Windsor, Toronto, Italy, and the US who will deeply miss her warm spirit.
Her memory will also live on through Andrew and Olivia along with her loyal furry companion Remi.
Antonella found immense joy in bringing people together; her home was always full of warmth and laughter. People admired her sense of style; she had an eye for fashion especially when it came to great heels. Traveling brought her happiness too; she longed to see more of the world. One last time she felt bliss as she dug her toes into the sand while gazing out at the beautiful ocean waves. Her radiant smile lit up any room even until her very last moments.
Antonella was an incredible woman whose love will continue in the hearts of her beloved children. She’ll be missed dearly but forever loved.
Visitation is scheduled at Windsor Chapel – Banwell Location (11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, Windsor, ON) on Wednesday, September 23rd from 2 pm – 5 pm and again from 7 pm – 9 pm with Parish Prayers at 4:30 pm. Visitation continues on Thursday September 24th at Banwell Chapel starting at 10 am until it’s time for procession to Ste. Annes Parish for an 11 am mass.
