FASE, Adriana Geertruida “Jane” (nee Van Jaarsveld)

1937-2026

Adriana “Jane” passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of the late Bill Fase. Jane was a caring mother to Anita Radu (Michael), Connie Beaudoin (Robert), Debbie Wirsing (David), Rick Fase (Karen) and Yvonne Fase (Marcel). She was also a proud grandmother to Jennifer (Dan) Lumley, Stephanie Radu (Jose Lopez), Melissa Radu (Wesley Sohier), Josh (Ashton) Beaudoin, David (Kirsten) Beaudoin, Adam Fase, Kate Fase, Lauren Fase, Daniel (Shaelyn) Sprague and Devon Sprague. Jane had the joy of being a great grandmother to Collins, Quinn, Chase(D), Cade, Aiden, Eva, Christian, Eli, Palmer and Everett. She was a dear sister to Ton and Willy; Leo(D), Wim(D) and Toos; Truus and Andy(D); Paul(D); Sjaak(D); Anna and Piet(D); Henk and Trui; Riet and Günther; Hans and Helga; Netty and Willem(D); Petra and Roel; Carla and Frank; Rob(D) and Astrid(D).

Growing up in Holland as the oldest of 16 children shaped Jane’s character. In 1958 she moved to Canada where she married Bill in 1959 and began her family. Family gatherings brought her immense happiness. Her strong faith was evident at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church where she took pride in serving as President of the Catholic Women’s League for several years. For many years she volunteered at the Cancer Clinic helping others in need. Jane loved flowers, gardening, golfing, camping along with playing scrabble and cards. During the pandemic she joined Bill at Villages of St. Clair Amherstburg where her bright smile and optimistic attitude made an impact on everyone around her. Our family wishes to express sincere thanks to all staff for their wonderful care along with their kindness toward this amazing woman.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) located at 1700 Tecumseh Rd.
