Ashlee Anne Loraine Shearer
April 25, 1988 – April 30, 2026
With deep sadness, we share the news of Ashlee’s passing on Thursday, April 30, 2026 in Cancun, Mexico with Tim Martyn by her side. Ashlee will be fondly remembered by her parents Robert and Betty (Paul De Vos); and as a dear sister to Justin (Karleen) and Nathan (Rebecca). Her nieces Emerson and Madison will always hold her close in their hearts. Ashlee was the granddaughter of James and Loraine Shearer (both predeceased), John and Ruby Hall (both predeceased) and Jack and Erkie De Vos. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, and her little dog Brows will also carry her memory forward.
Ashlee had a special love for Turtles. In place of flowers, donations can be made to Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre (ontarioturtle. ca/donate).
A Celebration of Life is set for Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the Oakwood & District Lions Club, located at 1008 Eldon Road, Oakwood, Ontario from 11:00 a. m. until 2:00 p. m. A light lunch will be provided as family and friends come together to share stories and celebrate Ashlee’s life.
The warmth, kindness, and love that Ashlee shared will forever remain in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
