AMOR OMNIA VINCIT

With great sadness, we share the news of Maria Di Giuseppe-Spina’s passing, as she left us peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Maria was a devoted wife to John Spina for 38 wonderful years. She took pride in being the loving mother of Jessica (Marco) and John-Paul (Jamille), and she adored being Nonna to her beloved granddaughter, Aurora.

Now, Maria is reunited in heaven with her cherished parents, Antonio and Giovanna, along with her siblings Antonietta (Orazio), Rita (Giulio), and Bruno. She is fondly remembered by her surviving brother Dante (Gina) and sister-in-law Rosina, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will always keep her memory alive in their hearts.

Born in Italy, Maria came to Canada in 1974 with her parents in search of new adventures. With courage and determination, she embraced this new chapter of her life. Shortly after arriving, she met John; it was love at first sight for them both. Together they built a family that reflected the strong values and dedication that defined Maria’s life.

People will remember Maria for her strength, determination, and endless devotion to family and friends. She was selfless and always prioritized others over herself. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be sorely missed.

The love she shared continues through all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

May she rest in eternal peace.

“ LOVE IS SPACE AND TIME MEASURED BY THE HEART “

( Marcel Proust )
