In Loving Memory of Lee Vukson (Bradshaw)

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our dear Lee Vukson (Bradshaw)’s passing. The world has lost an incredible woman, and Heaven has welcomed a beautiful angel. Lee left us peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the age of 62, surrounded by her family’s love after bravely battling cancer.

Lee was a devoted wife to Donald, a beloved mother to Rachel (Paul) and Paige (Matt), and a proud Mimi to Riley, J. J., Aspen, and her soon-to-be-born granddaughter, Georgia. She was also a cherished sister to Michele (Glenn), a loving aunt to Nicole and Mateo, and a dear friend to many. Family was at the heart of everything she did, and she loved deeply.

Born and raised in picturesque Huntsville, Ontario, Lee spent her childhood enjoying the lakes and beauty of Muskoka. Although she built her life in Oakville while raising her family, Huntsville will always be where her story started; it’s where she will rest alongside her beloved parents.

She attended Western University, earning her degree while forming some of the most important friendships in her life. As an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, Lee developed lifelong bonds with her sisters that she valued greatly throughout the years.

After graduation, Lee enjoyed a successful career at RBC in Financial Engineering on the National Sales Desk for Derivatives. She was smart, driven, and respected by colleagues. However, the role that meant the most to her was being a mom. She chose to step away from work to focus on raising Rachel and Paige-a decision she never regretted. It truly was the greatest honor of her life.

Lee embodied what every child hopes for in a mother. She was always there for them-supportive without fail-and someone they could rely on no matter what happened. As Rachel and Paige grew up, Lee found new ways to channel her talents and compassion into volunteering at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital; there she spread warmth among countless patients, families, and staff.

Her passion for cooking led her to create Gigi’s Salad Dressing-a business reflecting her love for bringing people together over delicious meals. Above all else though-becoming “Mimi” brought immense joy into Lee’s life. Nothing made her happier than spending time with Riley, J. J., Aspen-and eagerly awaiting little Georgia’s arrival. Every cuddle or laugh shared felt like pure treasure; they each carry part of their Mimi within them forever.

Lee had an incredibly kind heart along with an amazing ability to make everyone feel welcome around her. People were naturally drawn towards her because she made everyone feel included; whether planning events or just lending an ear when needed-her warmth made others feel seen and valued wherever she went. Embracing life fully-with enthusiasm-she created unforgettable memories traveling around the globe with family & friends.

The impact Lee made lives on through those who knew & loved her-the lives she’s touched are countless! Her kindness & generosity changed so many lives which will continue affecting future generations too! Our hearts ache from this loss yet we remain thankful for each memory shared along this journey together-we’ll miss every single day but hold onto our love forever!

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude toward all exceptional teams at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre along with numerous healthcare professionals who showed such compassion during every step of this journey

A Celebration of Life is planned for Friday September 25th from 1:00 p. m.-3:00 p. m., taking place at Bronte Boathouse – Lakeside Room (2340 Ontario Street , Oakville , ON L6L 6P7 ). Everyone is invited as we come together celebrating Lee’s wonderful life!
