Mr. James M. B. Korzenoski, 73, of Thunder Bay, passed away on September 6, 2026, surrounded by family. Jimmy was born in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba, on September 16, 1952.
Jim worked as a heavy equipment operator for various companies over the years and retired in 2017 after dedicating 56 years to a job he truly enjoyed. He loved camping, fishing, and traveling to warmer destinations during the winter months.
Jimmy is survived by his son Damien Korzenoski; step-daughter Marnie Schlicht; sister Bev Montague; sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Dennis Storozuk; brother and sister-in-law Cecil and Olive Korzenoski; along with nieces April, Nikki, Stacy, and Kayla.
He is predeceased by his mother Vikki Korzenoski; father Malcolm Korzenoski; and brother Richard Korzenoski.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph’s Foundation – Crossroads Centre.
