With great sadness, we share the news of the passing of Hillary June Le Mercier Tedoldi (nee Du Quesnay) on May 20, 2026, at St. Michael’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Hillary was born on June 17, 1946, in St Andrews, Jamaica, to Michael and Berniece Margaret “Peggy” Le Mercier Du Quesnay. Her life was marked by kindness, faith, strength, and deep love for her family and friends. At 17, she moved to Canada and began her career at Volkswagen in Toronto. She later worked for Canadian Pacific Airlines in Vancouver where she met her husband Guido. Together they created a life full of adventures while living in British Columbia and Italy before finally settling down in Ontario.

Hillary was the devoted wife of Guido Tedoldi and a loving mother to Tina Pannunzio and Tony Tedoldi. She also embraced her role as mother-in-law to Jon Pannunzio and Trish Tedoldi and took immense pride in being a grandmother to Bella, Marco, and Cruz. They filled her days with happiness and joy. Hillary is fondly remembered by her brother Dale Du Quesnay and sister-in-law Mary Du Quesnay along with their children Thérèse and Michael. She leaves behind many relatives and friends who were touched by her kindness, laughter, and generosity. Her grand dogs Ryder and Simba will also miss her dearly.

Many cherished memories were made at the family cottage on Manitoulin Island where weekends were spent laughing together with loved ones.

Through hard work combined with continued education efforts she advanced through the ranks eventually becoming Chief Administrative Officer-a position that earned respect for its exceptional leadership qualities including professionalism fairness management skills among peers alike! Her nurturing personality coupled with loyalty towards colleagues led many affectionately calling her “Ms OACETT.” The legacy left behind reflects integrity mentorship heartfelt guidance forever unforgettable.
