Lela Ida Norette Carley (Schieck)
Age 91
Died peacefully at Leamington Hospital on April 25, 2026 surrounded by her family’s love. She will be dearly missed by her daughters Janette (Patrick) and Jolene, grandchildren David and Carley, and great-grandchildren Zoe and Ben. She was predeceased by her husband Elgin Carley, parents Henry and Viola Schieck, as well as brothers Grant Schieck and Allan Schieck.
In accordance with Lela’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow.
The family invites relatives and friends to The United Church in Drayton, ON, on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm to share memories in celebration of Lela’s life.
