GRIFFITHS: Pauline “Paula” (nee Gauthier) We’re saddened to share the unexpected passing of Paula Griffiths on Saturday, January 19, 2019, in North Fort Myers, FL. Paula’s family was her world. She leaves behind John Griffiths, her husband of 43 years. She was a loving mother to Michelle Griffiths and James & Suzanne (nee Stock) Griffiths. Paula adored being a Grandma to her cherished grandsons Cooper and Keaton Griffiths. Her interests included traveling, morning bike rides with John, and dancing joyfully. She is survived by her siblings Ron (Grace) Gauthier, Maurice (Marlene) Gauthier, Yvonne Braun, Noella (Everett) Weitzel, Cecille Gauthier, Lucille (Will) Opdenkamp, Jean Kroeker (Lyle Blize), Rita Cadieux (Steve Canniford), and Lauraine Cadieux (Larry Holder). She was predeceased by her parents Lauretta Cadieux and Hector Gauthier; as well as her brother Raymond and sisters Debra and Sandie. She is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Paula will be missed dearly by friends in Tamiami Village in North Ft Myers and back home in Windsor. After working for 24 years at Hiram Walkers, she retired in 2008 to spend precious time with her grandsons whom she loved immensely. Paula truly was the heart & soul of her family. A memorial visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E 519-253-7234 on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 6:00 p. m. until the Memorial Service begins at 8:00 p. m. Cremation has already occurred. In memory of Paula, donations to Diabetes Canada are welcome and appreciated by the family.
