The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking into an incident where shots were fired at a home in Oakville early Friday morning.

Officers arrived at a house near Prince Michael Drive and Taylorwood Drive around 7:35 a. m. on Friday, May 22nd, after getting reports of gunshots. Investigators found that multiple rounds were discharged into the residence while it was occupied. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Authorities believe the shooting was targeted and confirm there’s no known threat to public safety.

A dark-colored SUV was spotted in the vicinity during the shooting, and investigators are urging anyone with information regarding this case or those who may have security or dash cam footage from the area of Prince Michael Drive and Taylorwood Drive between 7:00 a. m. and 7:45 a. m. to reach out to the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
