CLAYTON, Mo. – An Oakville couple is facing multiple charges related to sex crimes against children, which include sodomy, child molestation, and providing pornographic material to a minor.
As per probable cause statements from the St. Louis County Police Department, authorities executed a search warrant at a residence on Blue Mountain Drive in Oakville on Thursday, June 18, following a report from the Missouri Children’s Division.
Officials noted that Marissa E. Thomas, 37, and Christopher T. Stewart, 35, reside together at the home with several minor children.
The property was found to be infested with rodent droppings and animal waste, exposed insulation, and other hazardous conditions within the house, according to police reports.

Investigators talked with children living at the residence as well as others who visit frequently. They discovered that Thomas had exposed herself to one of the children and showed videos of adults engaging in sexual acts to others; she also allegedly groped one child and performed a sex act on another.
Authorities claim Stewart subjected one child under 12 years old to several sexual acts and had inappropriate physical contact with another child under 17 years old.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has charged Thomas with second-degree sodomy, first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, fourth degree child molestation involving a minor under 17 years old, along with two counts of furnishing pornographic material to a minor. Stewart faces charges including first-degree statutory rape involving someone under 14 years old, two counts of statutory sodomy for deviate sexual intercourse, and two counts of fourth degree child molestation involving minors less than 17 years old.
Thomas was taken into custody on June 18. Stewart was arrested shortly after on June 22. Thomas is currently held on a cash-only bond set at $2,000,000 while Stewart’s bond is set at $300,000 cash-only.
