A motorcyclist lost their life in a tragic accident in Oakville on Sunday morning.
According to Halton police, the collision took place just after 8:50 a. m. when a blue Yamaha motorcycle collided with a black Acura RDX that was turning left at the intersection of Trafalgar Road and Burnhamthorpe Road East.
Authorities report that the motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the Acura were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Due to the severity of the situation, the Collision Reconstruction Unit is handling the investigation.
