Dishanth Srideva of Mississauga is facing two charges.
A man has been accused of secretly watching and recording women as they tried on clothes at a retail store in Ontario and now faces criminal charges.
Police were called to the Winners Store located at Winston Churchill Boulevard and Dundas Street West in April after receiving reports that a man was using his cellphone to film women in the fitting room.
According to Halton Regional Police, detectives utilized various methods to pinpoint the suspect.
“As the investigation progressed, the suspect was also linked to a similar incident involving an adult female, which also occurred at the same Winners location in November 2024,” according to police.
On May 16, 2026, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Mississauga. They discovered multiple items of evidentiary significance, including cellphones and a laptop computer.
As a result of this investigation, Dishanth Srideva, 36, from Mississauga, has been charged with two counts of voyeurism.
Srideva has been released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in Milton.
Investigators are continuing their work to find any possible connections to other cases.
