A man from Mississauga is accused of recording women inside a Winners changing room in Oakville.
Police received a call about the incident at the Winners located at 2460 Winston Churchill Blvd. on July 22, according to Halton Regional Police.
The woman confronted the man, but he managed to escape before officers arrived, police stated.
Authorities have charged one individual related to this case.
Jeffrey Abou-Mechrek, 34, from Mississauga, was apprehended in Oakville and charged with one count of voyeurism.
Abou-Mechrek has been released and is scheduled for a future court appearance in Milton.
Investigators are worried that there could be more victims and have shared a photo of Abou-Mechrek for this reason.

This store has seen two similar cases reported previously.
A man was caught in the same Winners store, located at 2460 Winston Churchill Blvd., back in early April 2026.
This individual allegedly recorded a woman while she was changing inside a fitting room using his cellphone.
Detectives reportedly linked this suspect to another similar occurrence involving an adult female at the same Oakville Winners location back in November 2024.
In May, police conducted a search of a residence and seized several items believed to hold evidentiary value, including cellphones and a laptop computer.
Dishanth Srideva, 36, from Mississauga, faced charges of two counts of voyeurism in May.
