BURLINGTON, ON

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested a suspect linked to the home invasions that occurred in Burlington and Oakville on April 22, 2026 (see original release below).

On June 9, 2026, HRPS officers took a 14-year-old male from Scarborough into custody. He faces the following charges:

· Robbery

· Disguise with Intent (2 counts)

· Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000

· Fail to Comply with Release Order

· Break and Enter with Intent

The Youth Criminal Justice Act prevents police from revealing the name of the accused.

The suspect is being held until a bail hearing in Milton.

The investigation into these home invasions is ongoing as police work to identify and apprehend other suspects.
