Authorities are reaching out to the community for assistance in locating a woman from Mississauga who was last spotted in a small Ontario town.
According to the OPP, officers from the West Parry Sound Detachment received a call at approximately 7:30 a. m. on Thursday regarding a missing person near Swords Road and Highway 124 in Whitestone Township, which is about 45 kilometers north of Parry Sound.
The missing individual is identified as Changhui Zeng, aged 82, who has not been seen since.
Investigators describe Zeng as standing 5 feet tall and weighing around 100 pounds with short grey hair and brown eyes. She may have been wearing a blue button-up shirt featuring a floral pattern along with black pants.
Residents of Whitestone can expect an increased police presence in the area, including teams from the OPP Emergency Response Team, the OPP Canine Unit, and OPP Aviation Services.
