Two men and two teenagers are facing charges related to a police probe into an armed robbery that occurred last May in a central Ontario town located north of the Greater Toronto Area.

A 19-year-old man from Mississauga and another 19-year-old from Toronto, along with two 17-year-olds, were taken into custody after being arrested last week, according to the Ontario Provincial Police in a news release on Wednesday.

The armed robbery, which took place in May 2025, targeted a “retail establishment” in Alliston, roughly 100 kilometers north of Mississauga and southwest of Barrie.

Search warrants executed at several homes throughout the GTA on Feb. 19 resulted in the four arrests, Nottawasaga OPP reported.

Joseph Lee from Mississauga and Luke Grant from Toronto, both aged 19, are charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.

The two 17-year-olds, one hailing from Ajax and the other from Toronto, face charges for robbery with a weapon as well as conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.

Due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the identities of the 17-year-olds cannot be disclosed publicly.

All four individuals had their bail hearings last week and remain detained, police stated.

If anyone has information about this case, they are encouraged to contact Nottawasaga OPP or reach out anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
